for love of German God! rsrsrs
what I'm doing wrong?
is in time the save??? the format of DX option?? I use DX3.... DX5.... and nothing become transparent
thanks again man!!!
Hey there
The reason you're not getting any transparency because the textures you're editing don't control transparency. The blue-purple texture is a "normal map", and they make things like the folds and bumps on clothing appear 3D. By deleting that section of the normal map, you're not telling the game engine to "make this part see-thru", you're telling it to "make this part not-bumpy". And the other one is just a color-map, so by deleting that section, you're just making it appear black in-game instead of having textures and stuff, not making it transparent.
From what I've seen so far, the only apparent way to make things transparent is by editing the alpha channel in photoshop, then saving in a DX mode that includes the alpha channel, but my experiments with that have turned out the exact same results, so I dunno. Maybe try playing with that and see what happens?
You need a hex editor to edit the objects, but it's impossible to get the part going transparent/removed in a hurry. I've read just about this things, so I can't give you a further explain.
Zitat:
You must open the *_01.cos.emz file with an hex editor and replace the code for the cloth you want to make transparent with zeros.
btw. the cammy & chunli one aren't from me... my models are fixed... notice the symbol covering cammys right breast in the video... mine doesn't have that

So läuft, der Anfang ist schon getan. Es klappt. Muss nur noch richtige Texturen machen. Also nicht mehr lange und ich kann euch schon ein paar Ergebnisse zeigen. Ich denke ich werde alle weiblichen Charaktere machen.
Hi, so, if I want to delete some elements of the models, I need to go in a hex editor and randomly put zero's instead of the current values?
It's a pretty hard way no? Isn't there any obj files or thing like those for the models?
